blinking red motherboard

It is my first time build. Prior to this asus motherboard I had gigabyte Aorus b450 motherboard and it made cpu fan run for a second and stopped immediately and was blinking red forever. I thought there has to be a defect in motherboard thinking probability of having my ryzen 7 2700 processor...
