    Question Hdds making a screeching noise when powering down.

    I've recently purchased a WD Blue 2TB and a WD Blue 4TB. I am certain both arrived with a damaged head but I want to make sure before sending it back. They both make quiet but worrying noises when reading/writing to random places(but these could normal) but they both make loud screeching noises...
