    Question Is my brand new 5800x CPU dead? works fine yesterady but today it suddenly dies, no POST, no beeps

    So I was replacing my 2600 with 5800x. Even bought new cooler for it too (Fuma 2). Everything is fine i can play games for hours, no issues at all. But then today i boot up my pc, a game suddenly crashed and system became unresponsive. I restarted my computer from start menu, and it wont turn on...

    Question Should I test the CPU in another motherboard?

    Basically, my motherboard had a short circuit or something else thanks to the PSU. I bought a new motherboard the Gigabyte b450 aourus elite and a new 700W powersupply. I have tested the motherboard with an Athlon A6 apu and it is working. Should I test my old CPU Ryzen 5 2600X, or is it risky...
