    Question dvi to vga adapter only shows 60hz

    hello guys i have samsung syncmaster 923nw monitor which its support 75hz but when i use DVI to Vga adapter to connect my new gpu to monitor its only shows 60hz refresh rate in display settings! is there anyway to get 75hz?is this because of adapter?
