gpu broken

So I purchased a second hand RTX 2060 8GB and as per the technician the board of the GPU got toasted or something. Should i just buy a new one or is it still worth repairing?

It just started to overheat for no apparent reason, the pump sounds like it on and running and i cant imagine that the water in it somehow disappeared. any idea how i can trouble shoot the issue, I have already ordered the nzxt g12 and kraken x53 to see if it might be the pump, but id like any...
