gpu dying

Hi everyone, I posted this in the systems forum originally, went through a lot of trouble shooting but didn't find a solution. Posting on here now because I think that this may be due to my GPU but I need confirmation. My PC has been having issues lately, and I'm not certain what is causing...

I got 2 major problems with my GPU even though it performs well. First Question: I move the 8 prong GPU cord a little bit and the Display cuts out and I have to restart my computer for it to work again, is it a Short in the wire or could it be something else? Second Question: I was playing RDR2...
