hdr 10

If l'm recording in HDR PQ 10-bit and exporting SDR/ Rec 709 (and using the Canon CLog2 to Rec709 LUT, using a Canon R50), would the final image in SDR look "better" as opposed to just non-HDR 8-bit SDR? Or would it be better to just shoot 8-bit SDR?

Hi, my gpu - amd rx 7800 xt, my os- windows 10 So i'm buying new monitor, i see some monitors have hdr 10 and some dont have hdr 10 written in their description. Now many of my games have toggle HDR on/off option in game setting. Do i need those hdr 10 monitors to be able to turn on HDR in game?
