High definition audio

Hi, I am quite hopeless now. I have an Nvidia 750TI, a monitor wich has only a VGA output and I am using a speaker. I installed Windows 10 on a brand new SSD. I have only 3 Nvidia output at "Dispaly" and that's it. (If I plug in my projector, it has sounds, but I think it's not relevant...

The laptop model is Lenovo E41–25 which came with the pre-installed synaptic smartaudio driver. The sound is incredibly lower than than my another old laptop which is a 2013 model. Now in sound enhancements tab i have only disable all sounds effects,nothing other than that...

I currently have my TX3 EVO fan facing down (ie. facing towards the PCI slots etc.) Is this a correct way of mounting it, bearing in mind I have an AMD system. At the moment, it seems to be working fine considering idle temps are around 30c, and when gaming its around 50c, but I wanted to know...
