High pitched audio

All I can guess is that it's faulty. I've used it for 11 months without an issue, but recently it's started emitting a high pitched whine through the AUX speakers whenever I use it. Seems to be display-based, because the pitch fluctuates if the display changes. No amount of setting-changing...
