i5 7500

So lately I've really wanted to get a 4k monitor, however I'm unsure as to the performance which my hardware would provide. I don't plan on gaming on 4k, just some movies, browsing and day to day tasks. Will there be stutters?

I have an 1050 ti and i5 7500... I'm going to put a new psu for a GTX 1660 super and 16 GB ram... I cant upgrade my CPU really, i7 7700 is too expensive... But it still runs everything, even my 1050 ti did, but can ot handle a Valve index and half life alyx and other vr games?
