loading times

A fresh install, I played dragon age in HDD took me 1 min of load times, I transferred it into SSD problem solved only 5s of loading time, after 2 days of playing SSD load times were now the same as HDD, what's weird is that when this happened all my settings were reset to default, and Origin...

I hate the built in microphone always being active in my acer aspire 5552. Does anyone know how to disable the damn thing?? I only want a microphone to be active when I choose to plug it in to the microphone port. I'm running Windows 7 on this laptop. Any help would be appreciated.
