I am running an older system and decided after many years to try to get a new CPU. I ordered it but now am concerned about installing it as I cannot find any good information on whether or not I need a BIOS update in order for it to work.
My current CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.80GHz...
I have an old laptop that runs on a GT 930m, I wanted to repurpose it and solder on a new gpu that's better.
Any recommendations for a gpu to replace it with? (if you can provide a link, it'll be much appreciated)

I've been looking around for the past few days for a motherboard that would be compatible with my AMD fx8320 CPU and Asus Fury ddr3 RAM. My current motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P rev. 2.x, https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-970A-DS3P-rev-2x#ov

I've been getting into music production and my dad gave me this old MIDI expansion card for my PC that he payed a forture for back in the early 2000s. This would be great, but at the moment I've got a B-350 motherboard which has no PCI 3 slots and this is a PCI 3 card. This is probably not...
Just for the sake of it, I am putting together a Windows XP 32-Bit build to use as a secondary (offline only of course) PC.
I can locally source the case, power supply, and storage. But I am rather confused when it comes to the motherboard, CPU, GPU, RAM, and potentially even a sound card.

I just bought a new CPU, 16gb of ram, GPU, Motherboard and a SSD.
I didn't upgrade my old 600W PSU from 2008-2011, because it should have enough power to handle the new components.
Now when i start PUGB or Escape from Tarkov, my computer just crashes and restarts itself without BSOD or...

I have a Corsair H100i from 2014-2015. I have it left over form my last build but recently completely upgraded my whole build. I am currently using it in my new build with an i9 9900k. How long can I expect my old cooler to last? Should I just go ahead and replace it or wait until it peters out?
