Im currently using a KINGSTON SA1000M8240G PCI3 as a boot drive (1500 Mb/s Reads/800Mb/s Writes, 100000 iops). Ive recently upgraded to a pci4 platform and im wondering if i should upgrade.
I dont have large bandwidth needs, im mostly seeking improved load times for programs/games, boot time...
I was curious about how much improvement you would see with the 6600XT GPU under optimal conditions if you jump from PCI 3.0 to PCI 4.0. Are you going to notice a significant performance increase?

Setup as follow:

1 x pci-e 4 2080 m.2 ssd on the M.2_1
1 x pci-e 4 2080 m.2 ssd on the M.2_3 (I skipped a slot cause I thought it would cool better)
the bios only detects the first SSD but not the second,
Am I out of lanes?
Should I move the 2nd SSD to...
