Hi, I've built a PC myself. It will be used for 3D CAD work and, in my free time (if available), for gaming. Here it is, please be honest.P.S. It has 64GB RAM because the 32GB RAM in our school PCs (HTL) is regularly maxed out. Also, I want this PC to last for 10 years without needing any major...
Hello,
I was just wondering, if a pc part is purchased such as a motherboard, CPU or even GPU and is left unused for a year or two more or less, will they degrade or be unusable? or will they be fine and can be built with regularly?

hello, I don't really know much about power supplies. I think the Dell 460 watt has 2 - 6 pin adapters to use for a video card.
a card I want to get needs 1 - 6 pin and 1 - 8 pin.
does this mean it will not work with the power supply? or are there adapters or anything that would make it work?
