I have to choose between a Core 2 Duo E6400 (2,13 ghz) with 4 gb DDR2 and a Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2,5 ghz) with 2gb DDR2.
What combination of parts has most power?
Edit: Is it possible to benchmark the systems in Linux, then I can see for myself the best combination?
I recently rented a floor at someone house as an apartment and am having awful latency issues with absolutely everything I try to do on their network. My download/upload is perfectly fine, I've downloaded large files in moments. Pinging their ISP (CIK Telecom) directly gives this result...

My amd FX 8350 pin are slightly bent..will there be any problem? I have tried my best to make those pin straight.Will my pc boot if i install my cpu with the slightly bent pin??

Well, I'm thinking of upgrading my rig... for no particular reason at all... and was wondering if a R9 280x would be compatible with my HD 7970 (link given). I see that the two have different clock speeds as well. Will one bottleneck the other, or are they completely the same...
