trouble installing

so, basically, i got a 1 TB HD, and to replace a smaller one I have a secondary HD SSD, via SATA, it shows up in the device manager, it shows up in my Asus B450 plus motherboard TUF Bios, but I can't seem to get it to initialize and format, / show up in Windows 11 or MY Computer, I can't get PC...
