So I have researched my component's and decided on a build. I will be using the PC primarily for gaming but also for general web browsing and whatnot. I have not included monitors or peripherals into the parts although I will be getting some. I will be overclocking my CPU so I have gone for the CM Hyper 212 EVO to cool it. I thought that before I go ahead and purchase the PC I asked some experienced PC builders for any advice or suggestions for my first build. Thanks in advance :)

Here is the build I have put together : PC Parts List

With your processor I would opt for a higher end GPU. You could accommodate the cost by selecting a cheaper motherboard. I think the Asrock Z97 Extreme6 would suit you well, while still being suitable for overclocking.

Here in the UK the Asrock Extreme 6 is actually more expensive than the Asus. Also I've heard some things about Asrock not being as good quality and not as good OC. Is this true?

I own an Extreme4, Im happy with it, though I have yet to purchase an unlocked processor to OC. Per their quality and OC-ing, you can refer to Tom's own article http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-intel-amd-motherboard,3902.html

In addition to that article, I seem to recall another one judging the Extreme6 as the best budget overclocker in a line-up also including an ASUS and Gigabyte board. Can't provide a link to that one, unfortunately.
