[SOLVED] “ERROR: Provider load failure”

Hi there

Whenever I try to run this command in PS: “PS C:\Windows\system32> systeminfo.exe”, I get this: “Loading Operating System Information ...ERROR: Provider load failure”.

What’s wrong with my system? BIOS and drivers are up-to-date.

Specs:

Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P (Rev. 2.1)
AMD FX 8350. .
32 GB DDR3, KINGSTON KVR1333D3N9/8G.
NVIDIA GeForce G210
OS: Windows 10 Pro, Latest Version.

right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter
SFC fixes system files, second command cleans image files, re run SFC if it failed to fix all files and restart PC

Did all as directed, both commands completed 100%, but same fate.

You mean why not CMD? What the difference does it make?

The only reason was it is readily available, just a winlogo+x.

Do you get same reaction if you search for sys info in start menu and click the app?
or does command show more than app does?

When I launch the app as administrator, it shows “Can’t Collect Information. Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management files may be moved or missing.”

hmmm. answers to that are run SFC, so circular in result.
