“It does not support this CPU on this MB”

I changed out my cpu and now when ever I start it up I get a windows that says “it does not support this CPU on this MB” I don’t know if there’s anyway to fix this without buying a “compatible” motherboard or not

we cannot help without knowing what CPU and motherboard your have the problem with

we can't help you if we don't even know what motherboard and CPU you have.
because without that info, we have no way of telling you what is compatible and what isn't.

Also tell us what the CPU you upgraded from is as well as the new CPU.

Also also, do you still have the previous CPU on hand?
