My pc was acting strange and i opened task manager, i saw an app running in the background called 0.dat and it's some nvidia releated thing. iam wondering if its some kind of virus and will it hurt my pc and if so what should i do about it?

yes i do, but iam not sure if iam safe because on some sites it says that that app registers mouse and keyboard clicks and is 59% dangerous so iam kinda scared tbh

That's usually just a worry if you don't have an Nividia Card. Do a quick scan with Malwarebytes FREE Edition if you want to check for sure.
