Question 1 Monitor Feels WAAAY Smoother on games than other.

This is a question I've been wondering for some time and I think I may know the answer but wanted to ask anyways in case I am wrong. I have been noting lately that the Dell one which is my old monitor feels WAAAY smoother when I play games on it like how it felt from having vsync off to vsync on. I was wondering if the reason for this is just because the Dell monitor has real gsync in it not gsync compatible like my new monitor does. I bought the new one because I wanted better colors and a IPS. Or is there another reason for this both refresh rates are set to their max and they have the respective gsync and gsync compatible enabled.

Thanks for any replies in advance. I just want to know why this would likely be happening its been driving me crazy because I love when games feel super smooth.

Well, you can use this nice little ghosting test on both of your monitors and see if issue is with monitor or somewhere else,

But one big diff between the two is refresh rate. Dell can do 165 Hz while Asus can do 144 Hz. Now, if you are running 165 Hz from OS, Asus isn't capable for that and can have frame skips, giving you uneven smoothness. To remedy this, try running Dell at 144 Hz as well, so both monitors would have same refresh rate.

Sorry for the nonresponse for so long for some reason I didn't get a notification I am running dell at 165hz and the Asus one is overclocked to 170 Hz. I was wondering if the smaller screen can allude to making it feel smoother or if that doesn't make any sense.

Better to keep the refresh rate same between the two monitors, since even a small difference (5 Hz in your case), can have a noticeable difference.
