Question 1 of the 3 GPU fans can't be detected by monitoring softwares ?

Hi there folks,

My PC has a brand new Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12GB N3060GAMING Rev 2.0 GPU.
Everything's working just fine, except that 1/3 GPU fans doesn't appear in any of the hardware monitoring softwares I use (OCCT, MSI Afterburner and HWInfo). I checked physically if one wasn't spinning, but all of them actually are. Do you guys have any idea what's causing this and how to fix it? I just want to be able to monitor my fan speeds and not have to open my chassis all the time just to see if all GPU fans are rotating. I'll try reseating my GPU later, but I'm open to other suggestions you guys may have.

Two of them are likely daisy chained together. This is the case for my video card which has three fans, but everything only reports two.

Found several other forums discussing the same GPU issue:

Like i said all seems to be working fine on the hardware level, but Hwinfo (latest version) only shows 2 fans. This is my first triple fan card but it seems weird that it shows 2.

GPU-Z shows only 2 Fans instead of 3

Hi, GPU-Z 2.40.0 shows only 2 Fans, but my RTX 3080 has 3 Fans. Is it a bug or a feature ? By the way, I'm having two different GPUs in this Computer; could this be a cause ? If you need mor information or want to check something on my box, contact me via PM / Mail.
