Hi, going to get my computer finally fixed and up and running and would like it to be organized and running fast. I am needing 1 or 2 Hard Drives but unsure on what to buy or what to do.

I am wanting to ask should I buy 1 or 2 Hard drives? I will be gaming, watching movies, listening to music and might be video editing.

Should I buy an SSD or SSHD? I was thinking of buying 1 256gb SSD for windows, files and games in but not sure if it will slow the SSD? or maybe I should buy a SSHD for music/videos/pictures and games instead?

I will be buying 1 drive for now then the other in a few months. I won't be gaming and doing stuff straight away but I have around 150gb of files. Most is music and videos. Will be deleting stuff I don't need and starting fresh.

Would like some help with what to do. Thanks. Also If SSD I will be getting a samsung evo if its the best one to get and is sort of cheap?

Solution
OS and applications. This includes "skype, sony vegas, firefox", and whatever else fits.

For all the other stuff, a regular HDD will work just fine.
So ssd for the os only? what do you mean applications? stuff like skype, sony vegas, firefox? and use a 2nd one for documents, gaming files/installations and videos and music?

Also what would be a good SSHD? or should I just get a HDD?

I will be getting the samsung evo 840/850 first.

Hard drive will be for games/big files. Is there any certain brand that would be good to buy?

And also thank you for the help :)
