So I have one line going through the ceiling of my house, and since my main modem is at the end of the house I was thinking would it be possible to cut the phone line in my ceiling, hook it up with RJ11 jack and have another modem there.
Also is it possible to use that phone line as ethernet cable, thats just something tech support of my ISP told me I could do but I don't know if that can be done. So with this approach I would have one modem at the start and use that phone line to carry ethernet to the "main modem/router" and just use is as Access Point without the need to have 2 modems?
