Hi, i ve built this pc 3 weeks ago and i keep getting the same problem.

Pc parts:
R5 2600
Msi b450 pro vdh max
16gb Gskill trident z rgb 3200
Asus rx 580 dual
240 gb SSD and 1 tb HD

The problem i keep getting is when i start my pc i get a single blue screen thats not always the same but when the pc restarts it doesnt happen anymore.
The thing is that its completly ramdom, sometimes it appears every day sometimes once a week.
I also have a problem with my gpu drivers. When i try to update it sometimes it gives an error and it blue screens. Yesterday it blue screened when i started Call of dutty.

Im kinda new to pc building so it might be a simple fix .

(I have a BIOS update to do, xmp enabled and Windows up to date)

Im gessing its a driver problem.

If someome could help me that would be awsome.

Are your ram sticks on the motherboard list? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450M-PRO-VDH-MAX#support-mem-14

that first error is unusual (in that i never seen it before) - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...bug-check-0x5--invalid-process-attach-attempt

irq errors can be ram or drivers

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

is it an error screen or just a blue screen?
if error, Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

copy that file to documents

upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem

that will also get the ones caused by GPU

try turning this off, it might stop the error at boot - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html although its just a work around, the problems are likely drivers.

Its a blue screen that displays diferent errors every time. These are some that i remenber
Invalid_process_atach_attempt
Irlq_not_less_not_equal
And this other type i got one time
0x000000

The only actual error that i got on windows in when instaling gpu drivers(its my first time using amd gpus and i gota say nvidia is way easyer on the drivers side)

Later i will try to create a minidump and post it

Update!

I took a look at the errors that were saved and they all had to do with the kernel system (id error 41)

So i decided to use a driver instalation tool to see how my drivers were and it had fond some issues.

I reinstalled all the drivers correctly and it seemes to work fine. I can also now install my update on the radeon software!!!.
Call of fitty was giving bsod becouse of file corruption, fresh install solved it.

Now i must wait to see if it has solved my problem for good.if it didnt i will update the BIOS but so far so good...
