1 stick is fine but with 2 it wont show an image or load Bios

I replaced my defective motherboard that didnt want to work for a new one, an MSI B350 Tomahawk Plus, thanks to that I found out my gpu wasnt defective. But even with my old motherboard I couldnt run dual channel with my memory sticks its a kit of 2 8gb 2400mhz ddr4's, ive checked the compatability and it should be fine, but I still cant seem to run a dual channel, I would appreciate any advice to solve this problem.

as a single kit of 2x8 were supposed to works as one Dual Channel
did you plug it in slot 0 2 or 1 3 (1 empty slot space between each stick)

Yes, just like it said on the manual 2 and 4 or 1 and 3

try checking if your CPU pin is bent or not
try updating the BIOS,
or clearing CMOS,
indeed is weird, unless you do something in the BIOS like OC or change voltage

The pins area alright and Ive cleared the cmos a few times let me see if updating the bios would work

now this is getting strange,
have you tried another RAM set (since you say old motherboard and new doesn't work)
or trying the RAM set on other PC
