1 Stick of 8GB or 2 Sticks of 4GB?

I am planning a new build and I am wondering if I should have two 4GB sticks so I can use Dual-Channel Mode or if I should get a single 8GB stick so I can easily and more cost effectively upgrade (probably not until a couple of months) to 16GB.

BTW, the RAM is Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz

Get the one 8Gb RAM because you can do more cost effectively upgrade to 16GB later. And forget about the single or dual channel mode now.
