Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It won't show until you format it and give it a drive letter. Do that in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management and it will then show in My Computer. I suggest a high drive letter - U to W to avoid confusion with internals.
