I accidentally plugged power into rgb, replaced my b650 elite ice with an x870 both am5 ddr5, i have a ryzen 5 7600 and delta rgb ddr5 Teamgroup 32 gbs of ram. Now my computers fans start, no rgb on aio, but the pump and fans start with a red blinking light on ram and cou, I can’t tell if it’s fried or not

After putting power to the header, what happened? Did you put the power plug which would have gone to an optical media player into that RGB header, or?

Mentioned is a new motherboard. What other parts were brought over from the old build?

After I did this there was some red rgb everywhere then it wouldn’t power on,

I don’t really know where the power would have gone but I did put power to rgb

I carried everything from the old build, I currently think the cpu or ram is fried

Do you have any basic troubleshooting equipment available and have spare parts or builds that you can test components in?

With this situation I think I might consider testing the power supply first, and even if one of those cheapo Amazon deals. It isn't the end all be all of load testing and other higher order stuff, but if it says fail...

You don't mention other components. First option would be to breadboard the components you expect to work, at minimum. So, motherboard, CPU, one stick of RAM, and see if you can get a POST. If you can't at least get that far it would be of consideration that the parts in common could be damaged (old system to new).

If you have other compatible hardware on hand you can use that to eliminate certain things like RAM, graphics (if equipped), power supply, and so on. Keep in mind that damaged parts can cause damage and that you simply could have gotten a bad out of box new part.

If you don't have the equipment or knowledge see if you can find a reasonable mom and pop store or a Micro Center and take your parts there for a diagnostic.

Don't completely assemble the new rig. Make a test rig with PS MB power switch or screw driver, CPU 12v. and GPU. Break it down! Seems power supply voltages are alive. However, that doesn't mean anything.
