100% CPU usage in BF:H

It seems to only happen to Battlefield Hardline. Whenever I play the game with 64 players it sometimes made my processor hit 100% in usage on all cores. I'm not entirely sure why this happens.

However when I play Planetside 2, I don't experience 100% usage even at large 400 player battles with explosions happening everywhere. Is this issue caused by BF:H or something else?

And can anyone please suggest me how to reduce CPU usage when gaming?

Maybe its getting too hot. What temps while gaming? How measured? H100 pump speed? Fan speed?

I get 50-55 C while gaming and my H100i fans are usually at around 2000-3000 RPM during gaming. Pump speed, I'm not so sure of but my temperatures are normal at gaming.

I play on ultra and I usually get 60 FPS but when it hits 100% (which happens in BF:H only apparently) the frame rate is choppy jumping from 60 FPS to 30 FPS repeatedly.

But when I play other games like Planetside 2 in a large 400 player battle, I get stable 55-75 FPS even though so many things (explosions, gunfire) are happening at the same time.

Different game engines demand different things from a cpu, especially on mmo maps. Try turning things like advanced physX off for BF:H. My guess is BF:H is a lot more cpu demanding, especially at ultra settings for stuff like that.

You shouldn't be getting 100% CPU usage. Have you disabled some cores?

Download HWInfo. Run Sensors. Play BFH for 20mins. Post the Sensors results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic or similar. To see clocks, temps, voltages etc.

Strangely enough the 100% usage just suddenly stopped and I no longer experience it. Maybe some software was hogging up my system? And no, all cores were enabled.

If I do experience it again I'll give you info using HWInfo as I feel that the 100% usage will occur again in the future.

If I don't experience it again for 2 weeks then I will render this topic as "Solved"
