sorry if this is on the wrong place, i’m not entirely sure where to put it.
i was recently given a pc by my dads friend, and he told me that the ssd needs to be replaced. i powered the pc on and messed with it a bit, and when installing something or having a game up for a bit the disk usage will shoot to 100% and then bsod. the pc works just fine when using it normally, like on youtube and whatnot.
the ssd came improperly installed, but proper installation doesn’t fix it. is this actually a problem that requires me to replace it? or is there something i can fix without needing to?

on windows 10 pro
specs:
cpu: intel core i9-9900K
gpu: radeon rx vega 56
ram: 32gb ddr4 3200
ssd: phison ps5016-e16 m.2 1tb ssd. 11% full
psu: corsair cx600m 600w. in great condition
this pc is 4 years old btw

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: Make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both may be capturing some BSOD related errors, warnings, or even informational events just before or at the time of the BSODs.

That does not show any problems with the ssd.
Since this was a gift consider a reinstall of the OS and then work your way up with the proper bios and drivers.
i can’t reinstall windows. my disk usage shoots up and then i get the whea_uncorrectable_error bsod

How are you trying to reinstall windows?
If there is any OCing going on reset to defaults.
no overclock.
i installed the setup on a flash drive and then tried to do it on my pc. i can’t even get through windows updates because of the bsod, should i try to reset?
