Hello! I recently had a problem with my newly built PC. There is 100% disk usage on startup because of "antimalware service executable" and "system" any help to fix this is much help. I have disabled superfetch and windows search already.

It is because default(windows) programs are loading as well as the ones you installed and had the setting to start as soon as you log in.

Anti Malware service is a default scanner from Windows scanning your computer at startup

You can disable it.

Follow these steps:
a. Press Windows key + W and type administrative tools.
b. Select Administrative Tools and select Task Scheduler.
c. Follow this path in the left hand pane. Task Scheduler Library/Microsoft/Windows/Windows defender
d. Uncheck all the boxes under Idle, Power and Network.
e. Now it won’t scan your computer.

I hope it helps.

It won't let me change any of it, and I am the Admin. Quite odd.
