I tried disabling superfetch and restoring windows. When I look this up there is literally hundreds of "fixes". Where do I go about fixing it in reality though?
I can still return this thing no problem, is that my best bet?
Hi, you may as well try to disable Background Intelligent Transfer Service in Services. Or if you use Skype at that moment, exit it to see if it works.
You didn't mention the brand of this new laptop. A lot of them come with a bunch of 'bloatware' - removing that stuff should help the disk usage, particularly on start up - another thing to check is to see if it is hung up on a win update.
