So i recently built my new gaming pc: Specs=
Ryzen 5 2600x
RTX 2060 SUPER
Asrock b450m pro 4
16 Gb ram ddr4 3200 mhz
SSD 240 GB
HDD 1TB
650 watt psu

My pc works fine i can run every game on highest settings, but on some games that are installed on my HDD i get random freezes. I looked at my task manager and everytime i got a quick freeze there was a short 100% ussage spike on my HDD.

Does anyone know how to fix this,
Thanks in advance!

Solution
That's a normal occurrence when installing some apps on a HDD and it is more noticeable on 5400rpm HDD.
Games that need to load large amount of data to RAM will cause the disk usage to spike and games might start to lag.
Try closing as many task as possible while gaming to have more RAM available and avoid loading data while gaming.
Getting a larger SSD and installing apps and games on it will fix the issue.
