And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My current PC was built in 2011 and it's time to upgrade. I can play the games I like on medium or lower settings, and I want more performance than I'm currently getting.

What would you recommend for an Intel build? It's not a "must have", but every computer I've ever had was intel, so I guess I'm just more familiar with it.
Currently Ryzen CPUs have almost par performance with Intel, although Intel do have a slight edge in gaming. This should be good...

The 2070 Super is a bit better card with some features like game recording and streaming which are not available with AMD cards. If you manage to get a Windows license cheap then....

Yeah I agree, there's no real reason to invest in a 9700K / 9900K currently when the Z390 platform will be out the door in the next few months or so. And AMD is on par with Intel in just about everything and X570 will support the 4th generation of Ryzen when available.
