1000$ SMALL Computer with GTX 1080

Hi guys, I know the question has been asked many times, but I couldn't find the answer i need.

I'm trying to build a computer that would let me play games at decent fps 4k (great 1440p) and edit 4 k videos for work.

My budget is 1000 euros (i live in Italy).
The only thing I'm pretty sure is to use corsair Air 240 as a case (120 euro in italy) because it's small (i need to travel a lot with the pc) and has a good airflow (anyway, if you can suggest me another case with good airflow and small size it's ok).

Could you please help me? I'm pretty lost in the ryzen vs. intel 7 war...

You won't get decent fps on a 1080 @4k. You need a 1080ti to get averages @60fps. The 1080 is best suited for 1440p/144Hz.

Unless you already have parts like the 1080, you won't be gaming at 1440p as even a gtx1070 will still put you over budget.
