Question Are these benchmark numbers normal for a Crucial T500 1TB SSD ?

They seem off to me, higher than they're supposed to be. Here are the manufacturer's specs:

Sequential Write: 6800 MB/sec

Sequential Read: 7300 MB/sec

No this is the only one,crucial doesnt have its own benchmark as far as i know.In Crucial Storage Executive (software) i only have "Momentum Cache" enabled which can enhance overall system performance

Momentum Cache feature :
that's your dram speed in combination with the SSD
can enhance speed but can lead to instabilities or errors while using it.

to benchmark your ssd, disable the momentum cache feature and run the benchmark again

That is the issue.

It is using your RAM as a cache for the drive.
That uber speed is mostly just reading your RAM.

I'll bet if you turn that OFF you won't notice any real difference.

Years ago, I did the same with Samsung RAPID mode. Same thing.
Saw no real difference, so I turned it off.

Try changing the parameters on Crystal Disk Mark to 3 passes and 16GB.
This way you get a better idea of the drives true speed instead of the "Cache Burst".

"Enable write caching on this device" is turned on,unless there is something else.Its connected to PCIE4 slot on motherboard

After turning the Momentum cache OFF, did you reboot?
If not, do that and try again.

Yep i did,i have to everytime i turn it on/off
