Alright i have 2 Drives on my PC a 1TB WD Blue and a 120GB Samsung SSD. my SSD Shows a (C : ) partition which i know is my main windows drive and another 450MB which seems like a recovery partition... understandable.

but as for my other drive i have it split into 2 partitions (A : )(100GB) and (F : ) (830GB) for some reason though i have 101MB Unallocated which i have no idea why is there, i can't expand either partitions (A : ) or (F : ) so that 101MB is just sitting there. i can only create a third partition with that 101MB space. Is there away to add that to my existing partitions?

Hi there Aladdad,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

I believe that unallocated space is not on the right of the already existing partitions right? If this is the case, you will not be able to add that space to the already existing partitions.
You will need to use some third party partition management tool. It is always a good practice to back up the important data stored on the drive before dealing with partitions.

Let me know how in case you have some more questions,
D_Know_WD :)

Here is how my disks show,

i understand that by "I believe that unallocated space is not on the right of the already existing partitions right?" meaning its on the left? and so i wont be able to manage it via windows partition manager? and if so i will be able to use a 3rd party program?
do you know any good 3rd party partition manager?

1. You can only extend a partition to the right.
2. 100MB is too small to worry about.
3. It is not recommended to use A as a drive or partition letter. It works, but Windows will not index that space.

Before you really mess with that partition, verify:
Power off
Disconnect it
Ensure that the system boots without that drive connected.

If it does, great.

sigh, i guess its really not worth the trouble then. i guess i will just ignore it :| thanks for the answers

Edit: "Windows will not index that space." is that why when i search for something in the windows start menu they don't show? because before re installing windows i always searched for whatever i want and they instantly show but now it doesn't.. for example i would search for "Power options" it will not bring back any results.
