Hi, my name is Iago and I'm brazilian, so, there's this company that goes by the name of Powernote, and it makes, guess it, powerful notebooks. I bought one a couple of months ago, some stuff happened and i had it go to warranty. 9 FREAKING MONTHS LATER, here I am without any pc. Given that some issues came along the way they just decided to give me a new machine, being that mine was too screwed up to fix, and they're offering me exactly the same setup, except for the graphics card, that used to be a gtx 960m, and they're giving me a gtx 1050 as a replacement. Should I take the offer? Are they basically the same? Is it worth it being that they made me go through a lot of stress trying to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

PS: 960 has 4gb memory and 1050 has only 2. That's what puts me in doubt. Sorry for my raw English

900 mobile series is completely inferior to Pascal (10 Series) A 960m is roughly half the speed of its desktop brother. Having said that a 1050 (mobile) is only roughly 2% slower than its desktop brother, meaning you are basically getting a desktop chip.

All of that said. The 1050 is about 70% faster the 960m and better in pretty much every way. Pascal is doing exceptionally well in laptops.
