1050ti & 760gma p34 (fx) compatible?

tough call seeing this board MSi don't show any support over windows 7 soit may not be a uefi or full uefi bios used ??? these newer card need that ??

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/760GMA-P34-FX.html#down-driver

then under there GPU compatibility list no NVidia card tested over a 600 series that to me backs that up some what

https://us.msi.com/file/test_report/TR1_2887.pdf

if you do decide to try it be sure you buy the card from a store that has a great rma/ return / refund policy just in case that's needed if the new card fails to be supported and don't work correctly

see from reviews

- No UEFI

Bios is dated. No click bios. This makes finding things out like "No UEFI support" hard to figure out

Cons: No UEFI

did you try to do a cmos reset of your boards bios to see if that may help kick your new card in to working ?? [the battery way]

http://www.howtogeek.com/131623/how-to-clear-your-computers-cmos-to-reset-bios-settings/

any way just look at the boards your interested in CPU support list and see if your cpu is listed and what bios it may require

don't forget, you may need a new copy of windows as well if not a retail copy if a OEM copy its one time use and tied to the motherboard it was installed on [not transferable ]

well if there are any setting over default ?? like memory timings and sata ports [ide/ahci/ raid] ide is default most times and if windows was loaded on ahci it may not boot intill you change it back to ahci - thing is it will all be set back to default [ now you may have a save profile in the bios that will save your settings and use it to reload them back after a reset ??? ]]

I guess you kinda got to know a bit on what your doing ..

who made this prebuilt ??

Someone on amazon..

ok just wondering ,, so seen any boards you like ??? I'd help but don't know your needs or $$ willing to spend on this

I guess you just want to reuse all you can like maybe just a motherboard and a copy of windows at most ??? then what form factor will your case support all ATXand m-atx or just M-atx ????

Honestly I think Ill just refund the 1050ti and try to find a GPU that doesnt require uefi, if you could can you check if RX 470 requires uefi? thanks for all the help, anyway that I could repay you, like is there an upvote system on the site or something?

I would think it will as well ??? its got you cant trust any thing I see guys even with older 700 series NVidia cards now doing this as well the old style like 750ti's had a switch to change over from uefi to legacy bios use but the latest ones you buy today don't ????

its a joke anymore and you now got to support them instead of how it use to be of them supporting you and your needs [sad]

your still at trad that NVidia card get the AMD card and try and see nothing is guaranteed plug and play anymore

you may get lucky or right back in the same boat as you are now
