Which would work better with a i7 870 2.93ghz. 1050ti 4gb vs 1050ti 4gb gaming, what exactly is the difference?

Cooling solution is only difference.
I have gaming X 1050 ti, fans stay off till 60*C, and as it is summer now (around (35*C outside) the case is pratically hot box if i dont turn on fan of the case its hot (my i3 gets 70*C), but the temps stay very well under 70*C with 20-25% fan speed, under full 100% speed the temps goes to 45-50C (4k rpm).

My suggestion pick cheapest of these two or another brand, or go one with higher warranty.
