1050Ti vs 1060

Solution
That mini card is from EVGA, not Zotac. It looks like it has a different heat sink than the Zotac one. However, since the Gigabyte card is similarly priced and has a much better heat sink, I would go for that one.
You are comparing cards from 2 different tiers. 1050ti is a 900p @ 60Hz Ultra card while 1060 is 1080p @ 60Hz Ultra card. Price difference is also like the performance difference. 1050ti is a 130 USD card while 1060 3GB is 200USD card and 6GB is 250USD card.

The choice of card depends on these questions:
1) What is your budget?
2) What is the resolution you play at?
3) What is the refresh rate of your monitor?

if i am buying the 1060 gb card i am looking at the Gigabyte or the Zotac mini edition which come for around 200 dollars on amazon

No, no. Please don't buy that mini card. I have it and no matter what you do with it, it will always reach its thermal limits. I had to undervolt my card and spin the fan at 100% just to keep it under 80. My ambient room temperature is around 24 degree C and even then it runs hot. And, the reason is that it has normal Aluminum cooler with one fan and no Copper cooler like every other card has. Also, it has no heat pipes. Please steer clear of that one.

Gigabyte card is fine. Please paste the link to that card here and also check if it has proper copper heatsink with heatpipes.
