I want to upgrade my current gtx 760 to a 1060 ti but when i was looking around for a 1060 i found one that was 340$ and one that is 270$ the only difference that i saw when looking into the specs where that the 6GB had 2 HDMI ports as to the 3GB having 1 and of course the GB difference. because this is quite a high price for me to pay id rather chose the 3GB one but i wasnt sure if it was worth saving up for the 6GB was worth the while.

i apologize for not being good in english grammer or sentence structure but i really wanted to ask people that know what they are doing

Solution
1063 has 9/10 sm unit disabled, so the gpu is only 90% functional compare to the 1060 full 10/10 sm.

in theory, 1063 is about 10% slower. and 3gb ram is a bit low for modern AAA titles. often you will notice a hard fps drop when the vram is being used up and had to swap with memory. it can also cause a bad chain reaction as your system memory is also low and system starts to swap with your hard drive. 6gb will pretty much guarantee that you will not go out of video memory in games under 1080p.

if you could afford a 1066, it will generally do better.
