Hi, I just bought an msi gtx 1060 as well as a new monitor. I read that the gtx 1060 outputs a digital signal and some monitors are analog or something. My question is; is my monitor compatible?
Contact Cyberpower live support. I have experience with them, generally very helpful if you can't figure it out. They're the manufacturer, so it's their problem.
Cyberpower should have hooked everything up for you already, but if you can't see a 6-pin or 6+2pin connector (will be labelled), then you'll have to find that in your case/on your motherboard
Alright thank you very much, you've been a big help. Now just one more thing... I have a samsung monitor model S24E650PL. Is this compatible with the 1060?
No I have not connected the gpu to the power supply and I'm using a DVI-D connection, what wire would I need from the power supply?
that's why
the GPU needs power to operate
it requires a 6pin pcie power connector

That monitor is compatible with your 1060. Monitor has DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs.
