1060 not working

Hi, I just bought an msi gtx 1060 as well as a new monitor. I read that the gtx 1060 outputs a digital signal and some monitors are analog or something. My question is; is my monitor compatible?

Hmmm.. My pc is from cvber power but I have a sata 2 motherboard, msi gtx 1060 gpu, Venus power series VN500W power supply

Have you connected the GTX 660 to the pcie power connector from the PSU?

What kind of cable have you connected from the GPU to the monitor?

No I have not connected the gpu to the power supply and I'm using a DVI-D connection, what wire would I need from the power supply?

Contact Cyberpower live support. I have experience with them, generally very helpful if you can't figure it out. They're the manufacturer, so it's their problem.

Cyberpower should have hooked everything up for you already, but if you can't see a 6-pin or 6+2pin connector (will be labelled), then you'll have to find that in your case/on your motherboard

according to the specs for your PSU, it does not have the required pcie power connectors

after reading a few reviews of that PSU, I would seriously recommend getting a better PSU to power the GTX 1060

There are plenty that are cheaper, but will be much lower quality

You want a PSU that is safe, reliable and performs well.

Yes, a lot more wattage, but it will give you plenty headroom

That monitor will work with hdmi and display port, but will need an adapter if you want to use dvi

That monitor is compatible with your 1060. Monitor has DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs.
