1060 not working

Hi, I just bought an msi gtx 1060 as well as a new monitor. I read that the gtx 1060 outputs a digital signal and some monitors are analog or something. My question is; is my monitor compatible?

Actually, one more question.. You said the montior and graphics card are compatible right? Is this in terms of the analog signal and digital signal?

as long as the monitor has inputs that match the outputs of the GPU, then it's fine
