1060 on a non modular PSU

I'm wondering if a GTX 1060 is compatible with this PSU

I plan on upgrading my PSU shortly after my 1060 purchase but I'm probably gunna be impatient and install the 1060 ASAP. I would like to know before purchase if my current PSU would be compatible with the card or if there will be any complications.

Modular only means that you can't disconnect cables from the PSU itself but they're fixed.

Depending on the rest of the setup it should work

But keep in mind that this is not a top quality PSU

Better be patient. This is far from a good PSU for a gaming rig. It may die of overload and may kill one or more components in your system.
But most probably will survive.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014 would this be a good choice? I assumed it being a value PSU and having a fx 8350, my system wouldn't need a 700w+

It's an excellent deal for the money.
Will do the job for your system even with some headroom
If you were asking what to get, i'd point you to something in 60-70 range. But frankly, that would be an overkill.
