My bluetooth radio appears to be on, driver updated, and device removed and added back again. It refuses to recognize any bluetooth device that is in paring mode (headset, mouse, earbuds). I set it to be searchable by other systems, and don't see it on my iphone. (All the other devices show up there, as well as a dell laptop).

I built the system a couple of years ago, but to be honest I don't know that I've ever used bluetooth on this rig. Never had any problems with the ethernet connection. I've updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, disabled, etc.

I don't mind buying a USB adapter (just want the bluetooth for some headphones) but I'm concerned that it will conflict with the onboard radio.

System info:
Windows 24H2
Adapter: Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller
MoBo: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX
Belarc shows the following:
↓ Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
Status:Cable unplugged
Link-local IPv6 Address:xxxxxxxxx
Dhcp Server:none responded
Physical Address:xxxxxxxxx
Connection Speed:3 Mbps

Device Manager has the following entries:
Bluetooth
- Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
- Generic Bluetooth Adapter
- Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
- Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator
Network Adapters
- Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
- Realtek Gaming 2.5 GbE Family Controller

Also, under Other Devices
- Network Controller (Warning showing now drivers for this device are installed)
No driver available for this, it was installed 1/30/25 so not something part of the initial build. The event log shows the message "Device PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C852&SUBSYS_C85210EC&REV_01\00E04CFFFEC8520100 was configured."
Not sure what other information may be of use.

Thanks in advance for any help!
