1060 or 480 for the future

so i am between theese 2 gpu:s rx 480 8gb or the 1060 6 gb so i am wondering witch one is more future proof, and with witch card will i get the best fps

Edit : i will only be playing at 1080p

For the time being the 1060 will outperform the rx480, but the rx480 has better dx12 support, so that one is better for the future

Disagree about DX12. The benchmarks I have seen show they trade blows in DX12, here's an example http://www.techspot.com/review/1209-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060/page2.html

In DX11 the 1060 is a clear winner, only with Vulkan does the 480 pull ahead.

In my opinion i would go with the 1060 and maybe do a little overclock so it will outperform the 480
