[SOLVED] 1070/1070ti models with metal heat spreader on VRM and VRAM?

Does anyone know 1070 or 1070Ti cards which have a metal plate touching the VRM and the VRAM? I am planning to upgrade this weekend and want to buy a used 1070/1070Ti, and I have little ghetto waterblocks for GPU only on my 960s (I know it doesn't make sense but I like to experiment). I'm looking for a card which can be cooled with a little airflow over the card + the GPU-only waterblock.

Any input is much appreciated!

Most EVGA cards above the basic will, ACX 3.0.

Probably best to see what you can find at a price you like and look them up. If they have such cooling in place they usually have a marketing image that shows it an exploded model: (Scroll down about half way)

I checked a few other models which are available used in my local community right now, and found that the MSI Gaming X may even be better for the ghetto block. It has a proper heat spreader on the VRM with fins and has a metal plate on the VRAM. There are pics here:

The EVGA models are few and far between, and about 15-20% more expensive used than the Gaming X which I see many of for sale, even with some warranty left. Is there any reason for this? Is the EVGA card better in anything other than cooling?

Nothing wrong with that MSI, go for it.

I can't really speak to people's decisions on used pricing. It might be down to a transferable warranty, EVGA is pretty good about that.
