Although i5-7200U is not on the list, I want to know if it is Windows 11 compatible ?
i3-8130U is faster than i5 7200U.Seems quite a popular CPU since both myself, the OP and yourself have had / are running machines on it.
It was a gray Acer with the GeForce 940MX and the i5-7200U. I changed the HDD with a Samsung 850 Pro 1 TB SSD. Was a very good machine. Sadly it died.
Have had another Acer with GeForce MX130 and the i3-8130U. I eventually transferred the 850 Pro 1 TB SSD to it. The i3-8130U is pretty much on par with the i5-7200U in terms of performance; however, it is on the Win11 CPU Support list, whilst the i5-7200U, as regarded here, is not.
The i3-8130U machine still works.![]()

Great everything's working now on the i5-7200U machine.
Yeah, it could be said the i5-7200U is marginally faster than the i3-8130U as you'd mentioned. 😉
